Hi. I’m a first time boat buyer I have a chance to buy a 93 Thompson 2600 carrera. Is Thompson a quality boat?

When buying a Boat you should buy it because you like it and it has the feature,s you want in a boat, if you buy a boat only because it is a good deal or any Boat will do then Chances are after about a year it will spend most of it,s life just setting their and end up getting in the way. not much pleasure their.
Personally I have never heard of a Thompson, but their are a lot of brand,s i,ve never heard of. But before you buy, Check the floor for soft spot,s does everything work, look at the engine do all the wire,s look to be in their correct place, ask if they would be willing to go to the lake for a test run, a 1 Hour test will tell you what you need to know, I’m sure other,s will have more on this subject, so do your homework and you should be fine
It was a good boat at the time depends on the care over the last 14 years
