as long as you have your bill of sale you should be fine.every state is differnt.alot of states do not require a title.go to your bmv and see what your state requires.worst case you will have to have a police check done on your boat and provide to the bmv.have fun with your boat you should be able to resolve this pretty easy.

this is only if you intend to keep the boat in MI, if you bought in MI but are living in another state… you need to search for that state dmv site
